B. Right Benefit Skincare Range

DulceCandy from youtube always talks about benefit cosmetics and I know and love their make up but when she spoke about their skincare line I wanted in! So, when i found benefit had a sample pack and it was on sale I snapped that sonnafabitch up quick smart!

 One week later I have seen a huge improvement in my skin and yesterday i even went out and bought the full sized cleanser! The only major down side to this product is the price! The full size cleanser is $29 which isn't too bad, but the total moisture facial cream is somewhere up in the mid 50's which isnt shocking but for a 17 y/o its a bit of a splurge, so I will be saving up to get that sucker! But in the mean time my sample kit still has a good two weeks left in each! I love the packaging on all benefit cosmetics and am always excited to see what they come up with.

Review: LimeCrime Velvetine Lip paint

When I was at IMATS last month i was lucky enough to meet Rea Morris but I also got my hands on Lime Crimes Velvetine Lip Stick, I got the darkest red as I already have a dupe of their cherry red ( Alarm by Rimmel)

I love this lipstick the colour is amazingly pigment and even though I had to wait 45 minutes in a crowd of eagar ladies it was well worth it!

 What i like the most about this lippy is that it comes in a tube as if its lipgloss with a dough foot applicator, which makes for a really clean cut line and crisp finish which comes in handing considering red lipstick can become a nightmare when smudged. Oh! and speaking of smudging this lipstick drys matte and stays put all night long! Which is a huge bonus!!

I wish my camera picked up the real colour as it is a lot darker and is quite vampy.

I wore it to my school dress up social, I was a dark angel...Anyone pick out that Katherine from my how to: feline fierce look is the girl next to me? 

How you guys enjoyed this review, and also have you tried any Lime Crime lip products? I was to scared to try the purple, blue or green lipstick, maybe next year?

I was dissappointed that i didnt bring my book for her to sign but my lovely mother bought me her new book and she signed it for me YAY!

IMATS Sydney 2013

I have just gotten home from a long day at IMATS, this was the first time i had been and boy oh boy did i enjoy it! I got the chance to meet, talk and get a photo with Rae Morris ( my inspiration) and i was so overwhelmed by how lovely she was! Rae also demonstrated how to create a bunch of different looks and i found that really helpful, so also told us some ins and outs of the make up industry which was really interesting so, get ready for some new make up looks guys (watch this space haha).

I spluurged a bit and bought a stack of new brushes, the limecrime velvetine liquid lipstick (review coming soon) and some other bits and bobs.

Oh and there was also a lady from the M.A.C Pro team there who showed us how to create popular looks from this season, which are being used all around the world.

For my first IMATS ever I can definatly say it was memorable and will 100% be going back next year!

I havent uploaded any photos in this post as i rushing out the door again and just wanted to briefly share my day but, i will post some tomorrow hopefully :)

Review: Lush Bubblegum Lip Scrub

Heyy lovelies here is the review of the lush lip scrub which i promised people over on my instagram (the link is on the right).This lip scrub is amazing it gently buffs away excess skin on you lips and leaves them silky smooth. I use mine before putting on lipstick as in gives a smooth base to apply the product over the top. Oh and I cant believe I have forgotten to mention its edible! So after you've buffed away you can like if of your lips and taste the sweet bubblegum flavour. Another great attribute about this product is it is only $10 and lasts a really long time! Definetly recommend this product! two big thumbs up!

August Haul

I have been spending a lttle bit more money now that I have gotten a new job, although I should be saving for a car, I can't help buying new products! So as a wave goodbye to the idea of a car a say hello to some new make up, hair and body care products.

I have been wanting to get dry shampoo for way too long, and now i have it i am so obsessed! this one is meant to give you lots of volume and it definatly does that, love, love, love it

Beautiful smelling candles are one of my all time fovourite things. This one reminds me of Marc Jacobs Daisy and I like it alot.

Sinful Colors was recently released in Australia so I picked up this lovely red, its the perfect shade for all year round.

Body Shop you have done it again! All I can say is... Amazing!

Love this new colour i picked up by Rimmels Kate Moss Edition, it reminds me of cremecup by M.A.C

If you live in Australia head to priceline know to gat your hands on some of their make-up brushes they are doing 2 for 3 so i got this double ended crease brush, it is great!

Smells delicious and is perfect for popping in your handbag so when you forget to put on perfume in the morning you can use this instead.

I know this has been raved about a lot but know i know why this concealer is the bomb. It has no flaws, literally!

My hair was feeling really dead so for a little pick me up I grabbed this Schwatzkopt hair repair leave in conditioner, I have noticed a big difference in the last week.

I struggle with creating the perfect line of eyeliner but this Master Precise Liquid Liner creates the best line and it doesn't take a genious to use, I would recommend for anyone starting to do eyeliner or even people who are pro at it as it saves so much time.

How to: Pouty Coral Lip

I haven't bought a coral colour lippy yet so i mix the colours i already do have to create a customised look that suits me. 

Firstly i use Rimmels lasting finish lipstick in alarm, this red creates the base for the coral colour.

 Next I apply this peachy toned nude also by rimmel in 113 from the Kate Moss collection. I think this colour was discontinued but you can always use a different nude. Apply this over the top of the red and rub your lips together to mix the colour.

 Lastly apply a pinky lip gloss over the top to give your lips a pouty look. This is estee lauders lip gloss in weft.

And there you have it the final look

p.s the lighting was very poor when i took these photos so please excuse the rubbish quality

Sorry I havent posted in a while I have had a tonne of assessments due AND bloggers block AND i got a new job (yay) which is taking up any spare time i do have! Anyway I thought I might do a quick face of the day as I am on my 15min lunch break.

Review: Maybelline Mega Plush Mascara

Hello everyone! I hope you are well :) Today I am reviewing Maybellines New Mega Plush Mascara, this has only just hit the shelves here in Aus so i thought it would be a perfect time to review it so you guys can get a feel for this product before you go out and buy it.

Basically this new mascara is a gel base formula which claims that it doesnt flake or clump eyelashes. I dont 100% agree with this, although it doesn't smugde it does however clump, i think it might be the brush that does that. The brush has a flexible top which is quite loose which I find hard to work with and the bristles are very long which makes it hard to get to shorter lashes. This product also claims its buildable, I dont find it that good at layering because the more you put on the clumpier it gets. Here is a picture of the mascara in each step as I build it up.

I havent curled my lashes so they look very straight but, as you can see the heavier the application the more clumps.

My lashes didnt look like the ad... fml

I wont buy this again as I like to try different mascaras each time I shop and this one didnt impress me all too much

Review: Smith's Rosebud Salve

Hello everyone! Today I'm doing a review of my absolute favourite product, I have bought this over and over again which is quite rare for me to do but, I find this lip balm so smooth and luscious. I always keep one in my bag as it can be used for multiple things such as:- chapped lips and skin, blemishes, rough cuticles and softens rough hands. So its pretty nifty! I have only ever seen them at Sephora when I visit the US which is why I stock up, they are only about $5 which i think is great value and they last for ages!! So I give this product a big thumbs up!

Avon Glaze wear liquid lip colour in Chic Mauve, I only used this in the centre of the lips to make them appear larger.
